Mr. Caditz’s background is in public engagement and creating sustainable urban ecosystems. He has always had a passion for working to build better communities. For the past eight years, Mr. Caditz has worked with schools to help get students excited about STEM topics and the environment. He joined the SCI Board of Directors in 2017.
Jacobe Caditz currently manages the Sacramento Municipal Utility District’s Energy Education and Technology Center (EE&TC) which provides free classes to help customers control their energy costs while making their homes and businesses more comfortable, connected, and sustainable.

Mr. Caditz combined his MBA studies at the University of the Pacific with two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay. While abroad, he focused on strengthening municipal services and promoting education. As ardent supporters of organic gardening and sustainability, Mr. Caditz and his family often walk to a local farm and education center to get their groceries.
