At COP29, Solar Cookers International announced a new initiative to develop local solar cookstove manufacturing in the Central African Republic through collaboration with the University of Bangui. With fewer than 1% of residents having access to clean cooking, the project aims to expand sustainable solutions, strengthen local capacity, and support underserved communities nationwide effectively.
