Solar Cookers International named a winner of the Keeling Curve Prize
Solar Cookers International has been named a winner of the Keeling Curve Prize! The Keeling Curve Prize recognizes “the most impactful climate projects around the world.” SCI is one of ten winners selected from approximately 400 applicants from around the world after a rigorous evaluation. The screening process was conducted by the program’s impressive team of analysts and judges, including Kara Hurst, Amazon’s VP of worldwide sustainability; Kevin Auerbacher, Managing Counsel at Tesla; and Edward Mungai, CEO of the Kenya Climate Innovation Center. The award was given by United Nations Goodwill Ambassador and Ghanaian Grammy-nominee Rocky Dawuni.
