As an unprecedented year of change and new challenges draws to a close and we look ahead to 2021, we want to THANK YOU for making an incredible impact with Solar Cookers International.

Because of you and the global solar cooking community working tirelessly, there are more than 4 million solar cookers worldwide, positively directly impacting 14 million people.

With solar cooking, 14 million people can breathe fresher air, drink cleaner water, and eat more nutritional meals. Environments are preserved and CO2 emissions are prevented. The world benefits.

Empowered 350 more people in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya with solar cooking technologies and training.
Published Top 10 Reasons Solar Cooking is Essential During a Global Health Crisis and Beyond.
Promoted solar cooking and its benefits in over 20 global publications, including ASPENIA, Italy's highly regarded journal on international affairs, and Leaders Magazine.
Participated in virtual events around the world like the ReEnergy Africa E-Summit, STAR-TIDES 14th Annual Capabilities Demo, and the United Nations Climate Dialogues.
Discussed solar cooking as a response to climate and health challenges with Chief Meteorologist and SCI Board Member Monica Woods.
Released the John Collentine Solar Cooking Toolkit, a collection of Solar Cooking resources for a variety of audiences.
Doubled the amount of SCI PEP tested solar cookers this year, including more evacuated tube and reflective panel designs, in order to provide you with the most up to date solar cooking research.
