Morgan Stonefelt with a solar cooker

“Solar Cookers International is a wonderful example of a group of dedicated individuals coming together to make a difference in their communities. I am proud to be a part of an organization that prioritizes people and the environment.”

Morgan has over 8 years of experience working in non-profit development and fundraising. Her guiding star for her career has been to do good and help people. Prior to her current role, she was the Development Manager for SCI and is still a proud member of SCI’s Legacy Circle. During her time in grad school, she interned for an organization that focused on the importance of teaching children how to grow their own vegetables as a way to connect their food to the environment and positive climate action. She is excited to apply her experience in public health and non-profit work to the mission of SCI to make solar cooking accessible to women, girls and communities around the world.

Morgan double majored in International Relations and Spanish and holds her B.A. from University of the Pacific in Stockton, California. Her Master’s of Public Health degree is from San Jose State University also in California. Morgan is fluent in Spanish and interested in foreign language and linguistics. Outside of SCI, Morgan spends her time at the gym, with her cat, Disco, and experimenting with vegan cooking.
