What is COP24?

COP stands for the Conference of the Parties to the 1992 United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.  Climate policy is negotiated at these global conferences.

About 26,000 people from 190 countries will take part in the event, including politicians, representatives of non-governmental organizations, scientific community and business sector.

At COP24, SCI will give a voice to the solar cooking sector and those still cooking over open fires.
